Tuition Schedule

The Monroe Before and After School Care (B.A.S.C.) Program provides a safe before and after school alternative. Monroe B.A.S.C. is owned and operated by The B.A.S.C. Network, which has been providing before and after school care in Middlesex County since September, 1992. B.A.S.C. is licensed by the State of New Jersey's Department of Youth and Family Services and adheres to the quality standards set forth by the National School Age Care Alliance.


PROGRAM ELEMENTS
The B.A.S.C. program will provide a well-planned, flexible schedule of activities in a supervised environment. Children will select from a wide variety of activities including, but not limited to: indoor and outdoor play, games and sports, arts and crafts, cooking, science, rest and reading. Homework time and assistance is a part of the B.A.S.C. program.

Children and parents will decide if homework is to be completed during B.A.S.C. Breakfast is provided for our A.M. students and a nutritious snack is offered in the afternoon.


HOURS OF OPERATION
A.M. B.A.S.C.: 7:15 A.M. until start of school day
P.M. B.A.S.C.: end of school day to 6:00 P.M. (extended care available until 6:30 P.M.)

The Monroe B.A.S.C. Program will operate at the above times on all days school is in session. The afternoon session will begin earlier on half-days. When school is closed for vacation days B.A.S.C. will also be closed.

We also offer a drop-in program which allows your child to attend B.A.S.C. on an "as needed" basis .


KINDERGARTEN WRAP-AROUND

In addition to our A.M. and P.M. program we will offer wrap-around care for kindergarteners. Our K-wrap program for the Mill Lake School is housed right in the school. K-Wrap for Barclay Brook and Oak Tree Students is held at Barclay Brook. Barclay Brook students may attend if they are assigned either A.M. or P.M. kindergarten; Oak Tree students must be assigned P.M. kindergarten.  Transportation will be provided to the Oak Tree School after lunch.


INCLEMENT WEATHER
On days when school is closed due to inclement weather, the B.A.S.C. program will also be closed. On days when there is a delayed opening, the A.M. B.A.S.C. program will also be delayed for two hours. In the case of an early dismissal due to bad weather, the program will be closed.
